Avast Reports a Phishing Scam Stealing Finnish Bank Passwords & Money

Avast the industry leaders in the digital data protection domain, recently reported an online phishing scam that targeted the Finnish bank customers and has been able to earn big money. According to Deborah Salmi, Avast blog author, the attack is a spear phishing campaign and is spread as text messages and emails. These text messages and emails are simply to fool the bank customers and to make them give away their banking account login credentials. The messages and emails contain a link in the body, clicking on which directs the customer to a fake bank login page, where a gullible customer enters his/her ID and bank access codes including PIN.
