OEM was branded by IBM as PC-DOS and alternatively by Compaq and Zenith, where

then.
Later on, Microsoft designed its first MS-DOS based
version for the application Microsoft Word that was created in a way which can
be used with a mouse. However, it was not before 1989, that the new Microsoft
Word for Windows actually gained popularity and emerged as an important name in
the application industry, across the globe.

Francisco.
